THE HAGUE, Oct 23 (Hina) - The Appeals Chamber of the Hague-based International Criminal Tribunal for former Yugoslavia (ICTY) on Tuesday quashed prison sentences imposed on Bosnian Croats Zoran, Mirjan and Zlatko Kupreskic and
reduced sentences for two other Bosnian Croats convicted of war crimes committed against Muslims in Ahmici, central Bosnia. The Chamber reduced sentences imposed on Vladimir Santic and Drago Josipovic from 25 to 18 and 15 to 12 years respectively. ICTY spokesman Jim Landale said the three acquitted Croats would be released as soon as court formalities were completed.(hina) rml
