ZAGREB, Oct 17 (Hina) - The government's policy is known, the government firmly stands by parliament's Homeland War Declaration and does not need to explain it further, Prime Minister Ivica Racan told reporters on Wednesday, adding he
would not address parliament as requested by the opposition's Croatian Democratic Union (HDZ). Earlier today, the strongest opposition party's bench requested that the PM address parliament in connection with a statement by Reconstruction Minister Radimir Cacic of the ruling coalition's People's Party (HNS). Cacic said the HDZ-led government had carried out an act of aggression on Bosnia and Herzegovina. The party requested that Racan say if this was the position of the government or Cacic alone. government firmly stands by parliament's Homeland War Declaration
and does not need to explain it further, Prime Minister Ivica Racan
told reporters on Wednesday, adding he would not address parliament
as requested by the opposition's Croatian Democratic Union (HDZ).
