SPLIT, Oct 8 (Hina) - The State Prosecutor's office in the southern city of Split on Monday submitted a request that MPs Ivic Pasalic and Drago Krpina be stripped of immunity so that they could be questioned as witnesses in a probe
into the sale of the shares of the Split-based Slobodna Dalmacija daily to Miroslav Kutle. The office also forwarded a request that investigative proceedings be extended to more persons suspected of participating in the sale of the daily's shares to Kutle's Globus Group at their nominal and not real price, thus causing damage of at least six million kuna (approx. DM1.5 million). In late August, the Split Commercial Court annulled the sale of the daily to the Globus Group.(hina) rml
