ZAGREB, Aug 29 (Hina) - At the closed section of its session on Thursday, the government adopted a report on the course of the Stabilisation and Association Process between Croatia and the European Union and its members, as well as a
half-year report on the implementation of the Stabilisation and Association Agreement.

Thursday, the government adopted a report on the course of the
Stabilisation and Association Process between Croatia and the
European Union and its members, as well as a half-year report on the
implementation of the Stabilisation and Association Agreement.

Both reports, which relate to the period from January to June 2002,
were forwarded into parliament.
The government adopted a report on the implementation of health
reforms, which contain measures to increase the efficiency of the
health system. The measures will increase the responsibility of the
owners of health institutes, their financial efficiency, and
advance health care, the government said in a statement.
The government also adopted a decision on the holding of joint
military exercises between Croatia and the United States on
Croatian territory and forwarded it into parliamentary procedure.
Also forwarded into parliament was a motion proposing that ten
members of the armed forces be deployed as part of the UN peace
mission in Sierra Leone.
The government adopted a series of other decisions from its
jurisdiction.
