According to the statement, signed by this right-wing party's
president Anto Djapic, the cases when Slovenian fishing boats,
protected by a Slovenian patrol boat, entered the Croatian waters
on 5 and 8 August, were not isolated incidents but a part of a larger
plan for denying the Croatian sovereignty over the said bay.
The Slovenian incident in the Piran Bay is for the HSP the sea
conflict between Croatia and Slovenia, which can be won only
through a decisive action of Croatia's Navy and Interior Ministry.
The protest notes which the Croatian government has so far
forwarded to Ljubljana are for this party "unacceptable,
miserable, shameful and ineffective," which only prove the
inferiority of the Croatian foreign and security policy in the
relations with Slovenia, read the statement.
