The Slovene fishermen involved in the incident, as well as Slovene
police representatives have said that three Slovene boats were
located three nautical miles in the area under Slovenia's control,
near Italian waters and not in Piran Bay.
Members of the Umag maritime police noticed about 8:40 a.m. Monday
morning that four Slovene fishing boats had crossed the demarcation
line and entered Croatian territorial waters.
Croatian maritime police arrived on the scene and ordered the
fishing boats to leave Croatian territorial waters.
