MOSTAR, Aug 5 (Hina) - The Croatian government will earmark 25 million kuna (3.42 million euros) as the financial assistance to Croats in Bosnia-Herzegovina for the projects in public heath, culture, education, science and information
technology, the media in the southern Bosnian city of Mostar reported on Sunday.

The decision to appropriate the funding was signed by Premier Ivica
Racan at the government's session last Thursday, according to the
same sources.
The highest amount of 8.77 million kuna (EUR1.2 million) will be
given for the assistance in public heath.
The funds of 5.23 million kuna (EUR0.71 million) are for education,
while the rest is for projects in science, culture and electronic
media which broadcast programme in the Croatian language.
Within 14 days after the decision was signed, the competent
ministries should sign agreements on the financial assistance.
