Until 25 July when the festival ends, seven Croatian and ten
European movies will be presented in the official section of the
event.
There will be five film in the unofficial regional programme called
"Hot-Cold".
Opening the festival, Croatia's Culture Minister Antun Vujic said
five Croatian films would have its premieres in Pula.
After the opening ceremony, the film "Ne Dao Bog Veceg Zla ("Heaven
Forbid Worse Evil" in an unofficial translation)" by Croatian
Director Snjezana Tribuson was screened in Pula's landmark Arena.
After it, the movie "Tamnomodri Svijet ("Dark Blue World" in an
unofficial translation)" by Czech Director Jan Sverak was shown.
The Yugoslav firm "TT Sindrom" by Dejan Zecevic and "Heaven" by Tom
Tykwer were presented at another venue, Kastel.
