Presidents of the Croatian Peasant Party (HSS), the Liberal Party
(LS) and the Croatian People's Party (HNS), Zlatko Tomcic, Zlatko
Kramaric and Vesna Pusic respectively, described the meeting as a
sort of civil conversation and the obligation to hold talks
regardless of the current difference and relations.
They told reporters in front of the government's building that
their cooperation in the future would be possible without the
Croatian Social Liberal Party (HSLS).
There is possibly some model of the future cooperation, and it will
be the topic of the talks in the coming days, Tomcic said.
The three leaders said they had not talked with Drazen Budisa, whose
HSLS party was going out from the coalition, about his conduct in
the opposition.
Social Democrat (SDP9 President Ivica Racan and Budisa of the HSLS
did not appear before reporters.
A few weeks ago, the five-party ruling coalition entered yet
another crisis, and the latest dispute resulted in the break-up.
This affected the government, and PM Racan will tender resignation
today.
