On Wednesday some leaders announced it as a farewell meeting and the
last session to be held by the coalition in its current
composition.
However, leaders of the five parties are contacting each other in a
bid to define the joint moves in the future.
This morning, the parliament's head and the Croatian Peasant
Party's President, Zlatko Tomcic, arrived in the government's
offices for talks with Premier and Social Democrat (SDP) President,
Ivica Racan.
According to unofficial information, last night Racan phoned Ivan
Jakovcic, the President of the Istrian Democratic Assembly (IDS), a
party which had been in the ruling coalition some time after 2000
elections. This party seems to be willing to support the future
coalition government as well.
