election was not likely. #L#
Speaking at a press conference organised by that party, Cacic
claimed that it was not serious to speak about an early election. He
said that the Ministry of Public Works, Reconstruction and
Construction which he heads, was currently faced with several
projects that witness this government's success.
Cacic said that the ministry was responsible for 60 percent of all
the government's investments and the realisation of these projects
should not be hampered by demands for early election.
Cacic spoke at the HNS press conference about projects within his
ministry. He announced a request to the World Bank to finance a
project to resolve waste water along the entire Adriatic coast. The
project would be worth about US$100 million.
In addition, he stressed the significance of the waterworks opened
on Krk on Monday and a project encompassing Silo port on that island
into a project entitled "One hundred ports on the Adriatic", being
implemented by his ministry.
