BELGRADE, June 5 (Hina) - Yugoslav President Vojislav Kostunica on
Wednesday told Yugoslav news agency Tanjug that he was willing to
participate in a Yugoslav-Croatian-Bosnia summit on refugees.
Kostunica, however, said that the fact that the idea on the summit
was presented as the initiative by High Representative for Bosnia
Paddy Ashdown was inappropriate. #L#
Ashdown is the High Representative for Bosnia and Herzegovina and
the scope of his jurisdiction does not include Yugoslavia and
Croatia, Kostunica said.
The Yugoslav President said that the idea on the trilateral summit
was conceived at the Zagreb Summit in November 2000.
Kostunica said that the summit in Sarajevo should solve or at least
alleviate the problem of refugees.
