Croatia's head of state will also hold a series of bilateral
meetings.
Mesic arrived in Bled, the place where Slovenia's largest
international gathering to date will be held, on Thursday evening.
On Friday he will hold talks with German President Johannes Rau,
Slovak President Rudolf Schuster, Moldavian President Vladimir
Voronjin, Polish President Aleksandar Kwasniewski and Czech
President Vaclav Havel.
The Croatian public and media have attributed great attention to
Mesic's talks with his Yugoslav counterpart Vojislav Kostunica
scheduled for Friday evening.
Sources close to the Croatian delegation said the two presidents
should sign a joint statement on Saturday.
