ZAGREB, April 11 (Hina) - The Croatian parliament resumed its 21st session on Thursday by voting on the cancellation of the mandate of MP Milan Bandic, who is appointed deputy Zagreb mayor, while his deputy Marija Lugaric was
appointed to his seat in the parliament.

session on Thursday by voting on the cancellation of the mandate of
MP Milan Bandic, who is appointed deputy Zagreb mayor, while his
deputy Marija Lugaric was appointed to his seat in the

According to a report of the parliament's mandate and immunity
commission, Bandic was appointed deputy Zagreb mayor on April 4 and
his mandate in the parliament ended.
In an emergency procedure, the parliament adopted a law on the
ratification of an agreement between the Croatian government and
the government of Romania on cooperation on combating terrorism,
organised crime, illegal drug trade, psychotropic herbs and other
illegal activities.
Also passed in an emergency procedure was a law on the ratification
of a free trade agreement between Croatia and Slovakia and a law on
the ratification of an agreement between Croatia and the Czech
Republic on settling of clearing debts.
The parliament adopted two bills of amendments to the law on
financing water management, proposed by the Croatian Peasants'
Party. The government is obliged to forward the bill to the legal
procedure within 60 days at the latest.
The parliament resumed the session with a discussion on rescinding
parliamentary immunity for MPs Milan Djukic, Djuro Decak and Ljubo
Cesic-Rojs.
