prosecutor Radovan Ortynski be held.#L#
By a majority vote, MPs endorsed a conclusion of a committee for the
Constitution, Rule Book and political system, under which the
replacement of the head state prosecutor can be proposed only by the
government and not by parliamentary benches.
Drago Krpina of the HDZ said that the real reasons for the rejection
of the HDZ's proposal were political and not legal, which aim at
preventing HDZ representatives from presenting their reasons for
Ortynski's replacement.
Also present during the discussion was Prosecutor Ortynski.
