Gavrilovic primarily intends to get raw material on the Serbian
market given the fact that Serbia is not on the list of cattle
disease areas registered in the European Union, Glas daily said.
Property in Serbia is still contentious, so the Gavrilovic Belgrade
company, established 18 months ago, did not launch sales right
away, the head of Gavrilovic's Serbian branch, Zlatko Filipovic,
told Glas.
"We expect the Serbian government will keep the promise and return
our business premises as no one is contesting that we are the
owners. Given that the government has still not considered the
matter, we referred to the judiciary and expect the case will be
settled soon," said Filipovic.
He added the demand for Gavrilovic product was very high but that
the poor purchasing power on the territory of the entire ex-
Yugoslavia was a problem.
