ZAGREB, April 18 (Hina) - The Croatian government on Thursday
adopted a protocol on principles for establishing a border line
with the Federal Republic of Yugoslavia, read a statement issued
from government's session held behind closed doors.#L#
The protocol was drafted by a government's borders' commission and
supported by the government's border council. The foundation for
the border is the former state border with the former Socialist
Federal Republic of Yugoslavia. The demarcation in the sea will be
established through an agreement, in line with UN Convention from
dating 1982 and principles of international law.
The government forwarded to parliament a decision on the
implementation of the privatisation process in the Croatian Oil
Company (INA). The invitation for bids will be published in the
Financial Times and Croatian daily Vjesnik after the decision
becomes effective.
