Expressing satisfaction with the agreement, Zagreb mayor Vlasta
Pavic said she would propose the new composition of the city
government and forward it today to the City Assembly, so it could
call a special session for Thursday.
Pavic said that she would nominate former mayor Milan Bandic (SDP)
for the post of deputy mayor in charge of social affairs, and Stipe
Tojcic of the HNS as deputy mayor in charge of economy.
Bandic and Tojcic, the two parties' main negotiators, expressed
satisfaction with the consensus on the content of the redefined
cooperation agreement. They said that the agreement would be made
public after it was fully formulated tomorrow.
Both officials said that they believed the Zagreb coalition would
carry out its four-year mandate in full.
