"Croatia hails Bosnia's entry into the Council of Europe as its
neighbouring country and partner, and believes this will
contribute not only to the stability of the region, but also to the
promotion of bilateral relations in all areas, as well as to solving
remaining open issues," Madey said.
He said that Croatia was actively following negotiations on the
implementation of a decision by Bosnia's Constitutional Court
about the equality and constitutive quality of all three peoples in
the country.
Croats, as a constitutive people in Bosnia, must enjoy all rights
and fully participate in the development of their homeland as a
democratic and prosperous country, to which the Council of Europe
provides good conditions, the statement said.
