ZAGREB, March 14 (Hina) - A programme on stimulating success in tourism, which the Croatian government adopted on Thursday, defines several types of loans for businessmen in tourism, with interest rates of 0.5 to five percent. The
programme is planned to last three years and, according to some estimates, it will open 30,000 new jobs and earn EUR1.5 billion inflows from newly open facilities. It has been estimated that the state will have to secure about 700 million kuna for subsidising the programme. The support to trade and crafts will amount to 100 million kuna. About 600 million kuna required for co-financing loans will be secured from the Development and Employment Fund.(hina) np sb
