ZAGREB, Feb 27 (Hina) - Croatian Prime Minister Ivica Racan on Wednesday expressed concern with the situation which arose after a decision by the Croatian Social Liberal Party's (HSLS) Executive Council to withdraw three HSLS
ministers from the government. This is a serious situation both for the government and myself as prime minister, Racan told reporters before a session of the Social Democratic Party (SDP). He announced that at Friday's meeting of the presidents of the five coalition parties, he would request the HSLS to elaborate on its explanation for its decision. Racan said he could be meeting the HSLS ministers as early as today. He dismissed the possibility for his deputy Goran Granic staying in government as part of SDP's quota.
