issued a statement thanking Croatia for solidarity and condolences it
offered after a disastrous earthquake hit the south-eastern historical
city of Bam killing over 30,000 people last Friday #L#
The embassy of the Islamic Republic of Iran thanks very much for the
solidarity and condolences extended by the government, senior
officials and the people of the Republic of Croatia.
It also thanks all workers, especially officials of the ministries of
foreign affairs and economy, the Red Cross Croatia, the Islamic Centre
in Zagreb, Catholic Church dignitaries, economic and trade
institution, media, nongovernmental organisations and all other who
offered their condolences.
The Embassy also thanks for humanitarian aid Croatia sent to the
quake-hit Iranian region.
