ZAGREB, Dec 29 (Hina) - Croatia's Prime Minister Ivo Sanader has received a letter from George W. Bush who thanked him for a message of congratulation the Croatian official sent to Washington after the arrest of Saddam Hussein, the
Croatian government's public relations office said in a statement on Monday.
ZAGREB, Dec 29 (Hina) - Croatia's Prime Minister Ivo Sanader has
received a letter from George W. Bush who thanked him for a message of
congratulation the Croatian official sent to Washington after the
arrest of Saddam Hussein, the Croatian government's public relations
office said in a statement on Monday.#L#
According to the statement, the U.S. president thanked Sanader for the
message of support he had sent to the coalition forces upon the
apprehension of the former Iraqi dictator. Bush described the arrest
as the victory for all the people who respect freedom, particularly
for the Iraqi people who suffered under the Saddam regime.
At the end of his letter the U.S. president said it was now necessary
for all to co-operate in order to build a peaceful and free Iraq in
which the rule of law and fundamental human rights would be
respected.
