ZAGREB, Nov 27 (Hina) - Vinko Bresan's film "Svjedoci" (Witnesses) has entered the official competition of the 54th Berlin Film Festival, due to take place on February 5-15, one of the film's production companies, Interfilm, said on

Bresan's film has thus become a nominee for the Golden Bear which,
alongside the Golden Palm and the Golden Lion, is the most
prestigious film festival award in the world, Interfilm said.
"Svjedoci" is based on Jurica Pavicic's novel "Ovce od gipsa"
(Plaster Sheep) and is about a crime perpetrated by a group of
Croatian soldiers on a Serb family in 1992, during the war.
