52nd international inventions fair Eureka 2003 in Brussels. #L#
The inventors won one gold, 12 silver and nine bronze medals, as
well as 10 special awards, the Croatian Technical Culture Society
reported on Monday.
The gold medal was won by Hrvoje Mazija for the ultrasound vaccine
spraying system for the protection of chicken against viral
diseases in the hatchery.
The youngest Croatian inventor, Luka Maksimilijan Grubic from a
Zagreb elementary school, attracted the most attention at the fair
with his work on energy transformation, which also won a special
UNESCO award.
