Union of Albanians of Croatia will recommend that their members vote for the HDZ in the upcoming parliamentary elections.
ZAGREB, Nov 6 (Hina) - Representatives of the Croatian Democratic
Union (HDZ), the Croatian Green Party - Ecounion, and the Union of
Albanians of Croatia on Thursday signed an agreement on
cooperation, under which Ecounion and the Union of Albanians of
Croatia will recommend that their members vote for the HDZ in the
upcoming parliamentary elections. #L#
The agreement was signed at a press conference by HDZ vice-
president Jadranka Kosor, and the leaders of the Ecounion and the
Union of Albanians of Croatia, Zlatko Sviben and Tom Marku.
Commenting on Social Democratic Party (SDP) presidency member
Slavko Linic's statement in an interview with today's "Vecernji
list" daily that anyone voting for the HDZ had to be aware that in
case the HDZ won the elections there would be no loans for citizens,
but there would be loans for business failures of HDZ-sponsored
tycoons, Kosor said it was during the term of the government whose
member Linic was that the foreign debt grew to almost 21 billion
dollars.
Kosor appealed to the media to give the HDZ an equal chance as they
were giving the other parties. She said that the HDZ was
dissatisfied with yesterday's report by Croatian Radio about the
its election rally in Vukovar, because the number of attendants was
much higher than reported.
