integral national economy rather than neoliberal economic policy.
ZAPRE[I], Nov 3 (Hina) - The leader of the Croatian Peasant Party
(HSS), Zlatko Tomcic, said in Zapresic outside Zagreb on Monday the
HSS advocated an integral national economy rather than neoliberal
economic policy. #L#
Speaking at the last party rally before the official start of the
election campaign on November 6, Tomcic said the HSS's economic
programme was based on high growth rates and responsible national,
social and demographic policies.
Commenting on the last four years, which his party has spent in the
coalition government of Ivica Racan, Tomcic said the HSS "deserves
credit for the preservation of some 150 square kilometres of sea in
Piran Bay, the reform of the agriculture, successful trades
programmes, and the expansion of Croatia's jurisdiction in the
Adriatic Sea".
