Rados said the document access decision was an example of vulgar,
flashy manipulation and fake patriotism and an attempt to score
cheap political points.
"Our political ideology is different. We offer projects while
others (offer) accusations and a return to the past."
Asked if Croatia would join the European Union in 2007, Rados said
"Croatia is on that train but wouldn't be if parliamentary
elections had been held last year". He said that in the meantime,
all other prerequisites for membership had been met, faster than in
other countries.
Rados reiterated admission to the EU was Croatia's fundamental
national interest.
Speaking of the possibility of Libra forming coalitions with other
parties ahead of the November 23 parliamentary elections, he said
Libra and the Social Democratic Party needed to cooperate in the
first five and the tenth constituency.
Health Minister Andro Vlahusic also spoke at the rally.
