Friday's session. #L#
MPs are due to appoint the Croatian Radio and Television Programme
Council, the Energy Regulation Council, the Higher Education
Council, the Council for the Protection of Market Competition, and
the Commission for the Control of Public Purchasing.
Damir Kajin of the Istrian Democratic Assembly objected to the
appointment of people MPs knew nothing about. Hrvoje Kraljevic of
Libra concurred, saying the appointments should not be carried out
hastily.
Tonci Tadic of the Croatian Party of Rights said Communications
Minister Roland Zuvanic should comment on media allegations that
the concession for fixed telephony had been granted in secret.
The session resumed with voting on previously debated bills.
