The Stabilisation Force seized in excess of 120 tons of infantry,
artillery and rocket weaponry which had been hidden in underground
storehouses for years but had been regularly maintained and ready
for use at any moment, said Beare, commander of the multinational
brigade Northwest.
Said storehouses were built under the supervision of some Bosnian
Serb army officers and these people need to finally realise that
guerrilla fighting in this region is over, Beare said.
He was puzzled that authorities and military structures in the
Bosnian Serb entity allegedly knew nothing about the hidden
weaponry.
