PRISTINA, Oct 14 (Hina) - Kosovo President Ibrahim Rugova expressed satisfaction with the Pristina-Belgrade dialogue which began in Vienna on Tuesday, saying it would be contribute to Kosovo's independence.

"This has been a day of success, a day contributing to the
independence of Kosovo," Rugova said.
The U.N. civil administrator in the province, Harri Holkeri, who
returned from Vienna with Rugova, said today's talks pulled Kosovo
out of the status quo. He added the international community
welcomed the good start of the dialogue.
