ZAGREB, Sept 25 (Hina)- At the closed section of its session on Thursday, the Croatian government adopted a decree on the highest amount for unemployment allowance of 1,000 kuna per month.

Thursday, the Croatian government adopted a decree on the highest
amount for unemployment allowance of 1,000 kuna per month. #L#
The government also submitted a final bill to the parliament for
urgent procedure concerning nuclear safety which determines the
legal framework and necessary measures to ensure nuclear safety, in
line with international standards and recommendations.
Another final bill was forwarded in parliamentary procedure
concerning amendments to maritime legislature which is being
adapted with the provisions of maritime legislature and
appropriate international instruments in an effort to ensure
efficient protection of sea environment.
The government concluded to implement supplementary election of
members to regional and local self-government bodies as well as
calling for supplementary election of minority representatives in
some units of local authorities in line with the constitutional law
on ethnic minorities and the law on the election of members to
bodies of local authorities.
A report was adopted on negotiations on an agreement between
Croatia and Hungary in conducting border traffic controls in road,
rail and water traffic.
A bill was forwarded in urgent parliamentary procedure on
amendments to the law on protection for ionised radiation with the
aim of adapting the law to European Union standards which propose
that a competent state institute be founded for this matter.
