ZAGREB, Sept 18 (Hina) - The Croatian government met behind closed doors on Thursday to discuss the implementation of measures aimed at adjusting Croatian laws to European Union regulations and the preparation of answers to the EU
membership questionnaire, the government's public relations office said in a statement.

The Ministry of European Integration was instructed to coordinate
the preparation of a national programme for association with the EU
and to present the final draft for discussion and adoption by
November 28.
The government endorsed the agreement amending the Central
European Free Trade Agreement (CEFTA) and the supplementary
protocols and sent them to parliament for ratification under urgent
procedure. The amended agreement was adjusted for changes that will
emerge when the Czech Republic, Poland, Slovakia and Slovenia
become full members of the European Union.
The government sent to parliament a draft decision on the
participation of three officers of the Croatian armed forces in the
UN peace mission in Liberia.
The government decided to initiate procedure for conclusion of an
agreement on privileges and immunities of the International
Criminal Court.
The government endorsed the text of letters exchanged between the
foreign ministers of Croatia and Bosnia-Herzegovina on the
application of an agreement on shared locations at border crossings
to officers and staff of the EU Police Mission in Bosnia-
Herzegovina.
This agreement stipulates that under certain conditions officers
and staff of the International Police Task Force have the right to
be present with Bosnian border crossing officials in a shared
location at a given border crossing if it is situated on Croatian
territory, the statement said.
