Unionists insisted that the government should withdraw a draft act
on maritime domain and seaports from the parliamentary procedure,
as they believed that it would restrict their acquired rights.
Although during today's meeting Minister Zuvanic expounded that
the law would not encroach on employees' rights, the co-ordinating
body decided to blockade the seaports of Rijeka, Zadar, Sibenik,
Split, Ploce and Dubrovnik between 9 and 10 am tomorrow.
According to a press release issued by the ministry of maritime
affairs and transport, it will take all necessary measures to
ensure smooth traffic in the said ports tomorrow.
