"The claims which I have made as a member of parliament and
president of the strongest party in Croatia should be checked,"
Sanader told a press conference.
The HDZ leader insisted that the state leadership and Prime
Minister Racan were behind the phone-tapping. "We're victims of a
repressive regime and we won't tolerate that," he said.
Sanader said his suspicions of phone tapping were confirmed by some
members of parliament from the ruling coalition and members of some
secret services.
