The council is to discuss preparations for a session of the HBK
scheduled to take place on the island of Hvar on October 26-30.
Speaking to the press before the session, Bozanic called on
journalists "to be in the service of truth and work to the benefit of
man".
He went on to say that the Hvar meeting would analyse the Pope's
speeches and pastoral messages, and discuss organisation of
Catholic lay people in archdioceses.
The HBK is planning to organise a pilgrimage to Rome to thank the
Holy Father for his third pastoral visit to Croatia.
