SIBENIK, Sept 11 (Hina) - The co-ordinating body of 11 trade unions of workers employed in the ports of Sibenik, Split, Ploce and Dubrovnik announced on Thursday it would blockade the ports for one hour on September 25 unless the
government withdraw the bill on maritime resources and sea ports from parliamentary procedure.
SIBENIK, Sept 11 (Hina) - The co-ordinating body of 11 trade unions
of workers employed in the ports of Sibenik, Split, Ploce and
Dubrovnik announced on Thursday it would blockade the ports for one
hour on September 25 unless the government withdraw the bill on
maritime resources and sea ports from parliamentary procedure.

Should the government ignore this, the blockade will remain in
force until the trade unions' demands are met, trade union leaders
told a press conference in the central Adriatic city of Sibenik.
They complained that the bill would deprive port workers of all of
their acquired rights and legalise the injustices done during the
privatisation process.
