Speaking at a news conference in Split on Thursday, union leader
Petar Baranovic said that fishermen resented the "cowardly"
behaviour of Croatian diplomats towards Slovenia, adding that no
one had the right to threaten Croatia's international reputation
the way Slovenia was doing.
Baranovic said that Croatia's plan to declare an economic zone in
the Adriatic arose from the country's sovereignty, and was based on
international law and conventions.
