Asked by a reporter whether she agreed with the opposition HSP's
proposal that MPs should vote on the proclamation on the EEZ without
any new discussion, Lalic told a news conference on Tuesday that
this was a serious issue and there was no need to be hasty in
settling it.
Supporting Croatian fishermen, the HSS proposed that the
parliamentary agriculture committee should hold a session on the
matter.
"Thus, the HSS sticks to its pre-election promise it gave to
fishermen about insisting on the economic belt," Lalic said.
