Vidovic states in the letter that social partners reached agreement
on the changes during negotiations.
NHS president Kresimir Sever told reporters today the talks on the
changes to the Labour Act had not yielded good results and that the
proposed changes were still unacceptable.
He claimed that Vidovic was trying "to destroy the unity among trade
unions and manipulate union members".
He suggested Vidovic and the government had rather not meddle in the
unions' organisation as that way they were disrupting their unity.
The referendum is organised by five union federations and its
outcome will determine whether unions will organise another
referendum on a general strike against the proposed changes.
The NHS does not directly call on its members to reject the proposed
changes, but it hopes that they will realise that they are flawed
and oppose their adoption.
