ZAGREB, May 30 (Hina) - The cost of living of an average four-member family in Croatia in May dropped slightly by 0.25 percent as against April, according to the Independent Croatian Unions (NHS).

In May the average consumer basket cost 7,115 kuna, 18 kuna down
from April.
The reduction of living costs should be mostly ascribed to a 0.46%
drop in housing costs.
The average salary in March was 3,846 kuna.
The consumer basket, calculated by the NHS union federation, does
not include the costs of education, health care, holidays and
sports activities. It is also assumed that the family has no car.
