ZAGREB, March 6 (Hina) - The Hague-based U.N. war crimes tribunal has decided to entrust a trial chamber, presided by judge Liu Daqun, to consider a motion by attorney Luka Misetic requesting an investigation into a break-in into his former Zagreb office and the prosecution's motions that Misetic's request be rejected because it is unfounded. #L# According to the motions forwarded by the tribunal to Hina, Luka Misetic, who represents Bosnian Croat Ante Furundzija before the tribunal, on November 5, 2002 requested the tribunal to investigate a break-in into his Croatian office which he also used for the representation of his other client, also an indictee of the tribunal, General Ante Gotovina. According to Misetic, a computer containing materials relating to the Furundzija case, was taken from his office. In the motion Misetic places the break-in in the context of statements and newspaper headlines about the arrest of Gotovina, for whom an international arrest warrant has been issued. The Hague prosecution said in its motion that it was not clear if the stolen documents were those from the "Furundzija case" and requested that Misetic's motion be rejected because it was not supported with relevant evidence.
