Also included in the agenda are a bill of amendments to the law on
construction (in urgent proceedings), a debate on the
privatisation of the Suncani Hvar hotel chain and a report on the
situation in the health system between 2000 and 2003.
A motion by the Croatian Social Liberal Party (HSLS) on the
annulment of a law which ratified the agreement with Slovenia
regarding the Krsko nuclear power plant was included in the agenda
by a majority vote.
The sitting resumed with question time at which Premier Ivica Racan
will inform MPs of today's government decision to allow the US to
use Croatia's air space in case of a war in Iraq.
Ahead of the parliament sitting, several activists of the ad hoc
civilian initiative "Enough Of Wars" held a peace protest outside
the parliament building.
