Representatives of the Serb coalition "Return", who had been
boycotting parliamentary sessions for almost three months because
they were dissatisfied with how they were treated, attended today's
sitting for the first time.
At the beginning of the sitting, MPs were read out a joint
declaration by four groups of deputies -- of the Democratic
Alliance of Kosovo, Democratic Party of Kosovo, Alliance for
Kosovo's Future and a group of non-Serb deputies.
A member of the parliament presidency, Hydajet Hyseni, said that
the leadership of the said groups had agreed to support the proposal
on the adoption of a declaration on independent and sovereign
Kosovo of February 3.
The leaders of the said groups undertook to harmonise their stands
regarding the declaration with those of other parliamentary groups
and institutions of authority in Kosovo.
