Budisa told Hina he had sent the request to Prime Minister Ivica
Racan as well.
The agreement is unfavourable for Croatia and if it is ratified, the
country will waive its rights and claims totalling some 300 million
dollars and assume the obligation to biodegrade and manage nuclear
waste, Budisa said.
According to him, the agreement made impossible further
arbitration proceedings for Croatia. Slovenia could use the
agreement to strip Croatia of its ownership rights in Krsko without
dismantling the plant, he added.
The Croatian parliament ratified the agreement on Krsko last July.
The Slovene parliament is supposed to do the same today.
