The LS advocated that the Labour Law should render the labour market
more flexible in order to increase employment, and urged social
partners to harmonise views on the matter.
As regards the election of local authorities, LS abides by its stand
that mayors of towns and municipalities should be elected
directly.
According to the statement, this party opposes a military
intervention in Iraq, if the operation is not okayed by the UN
Security Council.
