which should be completed by August this year, will cost 8,103,000 kuna (1.06 million euros).
DUBROVNIK, Feb 21 (Hina) - Reconstruction and Public Works Minister
Radimir Cacic on Friday signed contracts with three companies on
the renovation of war-destroyed houses in Dubrovnik-Neretva
County. The reconstruction of 55 houses, which should be completed
by August this year, will cost 8,103,000 kuna (1.06 million euros).

The reconstruction ministry said in a statement that this year it
was planning to reconstruct 8,000 housing units, and all of this
will cost 1.132 billion kuna, making it possible for some 24,000
displaced persons and refugees to come back home.
Some 118,500 war-damaged homes have so far been reconstructed in
Croatia, and over 13 billion kuna (1.7 billion euros) have been
invested for this purpose. Another 9,000 housing units have been
rebuilt with cooperation with the international community.
