"DOS is prepared to create all the necessary conditions for the
Constitutional Charter (on uniting the republics of Serbia and
Montenegro) and a law on its implementation to be adopted in the
Serbian parliament," said the leader of Vojvodina Reformists,
Miodrag Isakov.
The Presidency concluded that DOS should "more resolutely insist on
a consistent implementation of U.N. Resolution 1244 on Kosovo," and
advocated the return of refugees to this province "not only of the
Serb people, but the Serbian republic with its rights and
authorities". This, said Isakov, relates to restoring certain
contingents of the Yugoslav Army and police, but also talks with
authorities in Kosovo.
