The daily claims that Djinjdic would send the same letter to some
other European statesmen, seeking their assistance in re-opening
the question of Kosovo as soon as possible.
The Serbian prime minister recently said that the authorities in
Belgrade would urge putting on the agenda Kosovo's status, as well
as the return of Serbian army and police to Kosovo as envisaged by
the U.N. Security Council's Resolution 1244, explaining that
delaying the resolution of Kosovo's status would lead to an
independent Kosovo state.
