ZAGREB, Jan 31 (Hina) - The prices of oil products at Ina's petrol stations will on Saturday increase by one percent on average and the price of heating oil will increase the most, by 1.6%, the Croatian oil company stated on
Friday.

This is the third increase in oil retail prices this year. The
prices of petrol increased by 2.3% on average at the beginning of
the month and in mid-January by 3.2% on average, while the prices of
diesel increased by 4.5% in early January and by 3.5% in the middle
of the month.
The prices of all types of petrol will rise on February 1, so that
Super 98 will cost 7.30 kuna per litre (previously 7.23 kuna),
Eurosuper 95 will cost 6.70 instead of 6.63 kuna, while Eurosuper
plus 98 will cost 6.98 instead of 6.91 kuna.
The retail price of diesel will rise by slightly less than one
percent. Eurodiesel will cost 5.75 instead of 5.71 kuna, while the
price of diesel will rise from 5.61 to 5.66 kuna.
The price of heating oil will increase the most, by 1.6%, so that a
litre of extra light heating oil will cost 3.10 instead of 3.05
kuna.
INA stated that the price of other oil products would not change.
The prices of oil products can be changed every 15 days based on
price movements on the Mediterranean oil market and the dollar-kuna
exchange rate.
Oil prices on the world market have been under pressure by the
threat of a war in Iraq for some time. Last week, the price of crude
oil from the OPEC (Organisation of Petroleum Exporting Countries)
countries rose to 30.78 dollars per barrel on average. The OPEC
countries in mid-January decided to increase oil production by 1.5
million barrels daily so that the price of crude oil could be
lowered to the desired range from 22 to 28 dollars per barrel.
